Keel laid: 30.07.2004 at the Kyokuyo Shipyard Corporation, Shimonoseki (Hull / Yard No.: 455). During her building progress the shipyard and the shipshull sustained heavy damage by the typhoon Nr. 18 "Chaba" on 30.08.2004.

Launched on 25.11.2004 as SCL BERN and delivered on 28.02.2005 to SCL Bern AG, Bern (Management: Enzian Shipping A.G., Schlieren / 13. April 2006 Enzian Ship Management A.G., Schlieren) / April 2011 Enzian Ship Management AG, Zürich), and registered in Basel Switzerland. Cargo Gear: 2 80-tons. 28.02.2005: Renamed SITC BERN due request of her charterers SITC Maritime (Group) Company Ltd., Qingdao .

29.09.2006 Renamed SLC BERN.

Went aground while inbound Sousse on 30.12.2006 with pilot assitance on an uncharted sandbar. Refloated the same day.

Sustained an engine breakdown after sailing from Sousse and was towed into Valletta, Malta for major engine repair. The crankshaft was dismantelt and shipped to Germany for inspection. A new crankshaft had to be made in Slovakia.

Sailed Valletta 20.09.2007 for Iskenderun. Arrived 25.05.2007.

On 30.06.2017 sold and delivered at Fort de France, Martinique to Angelo Maria Marine Corp, Nassau and renamed ANGELO MARIA. Registered at Bridgetown, Barbados. Official No.: 733708. New call sign: 8PAM8. The Shipmanagment was allocated to the German management company Team Ship Maritime GmbH from Bremerhaven.

On 01.09.2018 the shipmanagement was appointed to DS Schiffahrt Gmbh & Co KG, Hamburg.

Sold to Gala Shipping Ltd.-Lib., Monrovia (Management: Unimor Shipping Agency, Odesa, Ukraine) on 11.12.2019 and renamed GALA. Official No. n.a. Callsign: D5ST8.
