
This small cargo ship was launched as ELFY NORTH in the shipyard N.V. Scheepswerf "Westerbroek" v/h J.G. Bröerken N.V. in Westerbroek, Netherlands (Hull No. 169). The same year taken into service by Northsea I/S and A.N. Petersen, Copenhagen. Registered under the Danish flag (call sign: OZBX). The ice-strengthened vessel was employed in the liner-trade to Greenland.
In 1968 the management was changed to Mogens A. Harttung.
On 23.10.1969 Keller Shipping Ltd. Basel took over the vessel and registered her as DORNACH under the Swiss flag (official No.: 82, call sign: HBFG). The ship sailed for Keller-Lines from Italy and the western Mediterranean Sea to Morocco and Portugal. The Swiss Captain Paul Accola was in command on board for several times.
On 02.09.1983 sold the vessel to Odalor Overseas SA Panama (Studio Technico Navale MATTARELLI SNC, Genova). Renamed ZSA ZSA and registered under the flag of Panama (call sign: 3FAM2, official No.: 1374284). GRT: 1,162, NRT: 747, DWT: 1,518.
The further whereabouts of the ship are unknown.
1995 deleted from Lloyd's Register of Shipping, as the vessels existence was in doubt. Fate unknown. Further information wanted!
