Kurz nach dem Raketenangriff, 7 von der Maschinencrew waren auf der Stelle tot. Auf Deck sieht das noch relativ harmlos aus, aber im Maschinenraum ist die Hölle los.
Shortly after the missile attack, 7 engine crew died instantly. On deck it still looks relatively harmless, but inside the engine room all hell has broken loose.

Zwei der Schlepper im Einsatz. Der Tanker wird von den längseits liegenden Schleppern gezogen, so können sie gleichzeitig Kühl- und Löschwasser spritzen. Besonders vor der Brücke muss gut gekühlt werden, um ein Übergreifen des Feuers auf die Ladetanks zu verhindern

Der Tanker im Schlepp, die Crew ist inzwischen nach Buschehr im Iran evakuiert worden, nur der Kapitän und der Chief Engineer harren noch auf einem Schlepper aus

Der Maschinenraum brennt immer noch und der Schornstein ist eingestürzt. Beachte auch, das backbord Rettungsboot wurde anscheinend zu Wasser gelassen, der Bootsdavit ist unversehrt

Die Bergungsmannschaft hat Chemikalien an Deck gebracht, vermutlich Schaum- und Dispersionsmittel

Der Schornsteinaufbau ist total zerstört, die Wände von der Wucht der Explosionen ausgebeult und verbogen
 The funnel structure is totally destroyed, the walls bulged and bent by the force of the explosions
